ESF Partner Search Database

We are happy to announce that the ESF Partner Search Database has now been released on the ESF website. Please encourage your potential project promoters to enter the details of their organisations and project ideas into the database.

The database forms part of the ESF Transnational Platform, operated on behalf of the European Commission by AEIDL. It supports:

  • the co-ordination of calls for projects to make finding partners abroad easier
  • mutual learning through nine thematic networks of Managing Authorities and other ESF stakeholders.

The procedure is as follows:

  1. Go to http://aeidl.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f201d8b62da00d6881dc876e2&id=91109727e6&e=fd0f83aace
  2. Log in with your ECAS account (if you have not yet got an ECAS account, create one at: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/cas/eim/external/register.cgi)
  3. Create your organisation
  4. Create one or more project ideas

A short user guide explaining this is available in the ‘Technical support’ forum, or at: http://aeidl.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f201d8b62da00d6881dc876e2&id=e4470f4fe5&e=fd0f83aace .

Promoters can then search for partners and negotiate how they will work together. Once negotiations are complete, they should draw up and sign a Transnational Co-operation Agreement (TCA). This should be uploaded and appended by each partner to their national project application.

The database offers the following functions:

  • Access via ECAS account
  • Create organisation
  • Create project
  • Faceted search for partners (multiple filters)
  • Free text search on whole site
  • Read news and events
  • Download documents
  • Create & comment on discussion topics in 12 thematic fora (managed by Thematic Experts)
