About the ESF Council

The Swedish ESF Council is a government agency under the Ministry of Labour, responsible for managing Socialfonden (the Social Fund) and Integrationsfonden (the Integration Fund) in Sweden.

Organisation

The Authority has approximately 130 employees in eight regional offices throughout the country with headquarters in Stockholm and Falun. The agency head is Director-General, Åsa Lindh.
